Overview
Stamped was built to be a private, personal space for your memories. This Privacy Policy explains what information Stamped uses, how it is stored, and the choices you have. Stamped is designed to collect as little as possible.
Information We Collect
Stamped does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, request, or have access to your name, email address, or any personal information simply by using the app.
Every Stamp, Chapter, note, and photo you create in Stamped is stored locally on your device. Stamped does not operate a company server, and we cannot see, access, read, or share the memories you create.
iCloud Sync
If you are signed in to iCloud on your device, Stamped uses Apple's iCloud Documents service to sync and back up your memories across your own devices.
This data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's privacy practices. Stamped and its developer never receive a copy of this data.
Photos and Camera Access
If you choose to add a photo to a memory, Stamped asks for permission to access your device's camera or photo library.
Photos you select are stored with your memory locally on your device and, if enabled, in your own iCloud account. Stamped never uploads photos to any other location or server.
Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising
Stamped does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, or third-party tracking software.
We do not know how you use the app, what you stamp, or who you stamp it with. Stamped contains no ads and does not share information with advertisers.
Information You Share With Us Directly
If you contact us for support, such as by email, we will see only the information you choose to share, including your email address and the contents of your message.
We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and do not sell, share, or use it for any other purpose.
Children's Privacy
Stamped is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because Stamped does not require an account or personal information to use, we have no way of knowingly collecting data from anyone, including children.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is stored locally on your device and, if you choose, in your own iCloud account. Deleting a Stamp or photo removes it from your device and, if iCloud Sync is enabled, from your iCloud storage.
If you delete a Chapter, Stamped first asks what you would like to do with the memories in that Chapter before making any changes.
Deleting the app removes locally stored data. If iCloud Sync is enabled, your iCloud data can be managed or removed through your device's iCloud settings.
Your Choices
You can control camera, photo library, and iCloud access for Stamped at any time in your iPhone's Settings app.
Disabling iCloud access will not delete existing memories, but it will stop future syncing across devices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if Stamped's features change. If we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
