Overview
PageKey is designed with one principle above all others: your passwords are yours. We never see them. Nobody does. Not even us.
Information We Do Not Collect
PageKey does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically:
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying information.
- We do not store any passwords you generate.
- We do not transmit any data to any server.
- We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs of any kind.
- We do not have access to your generated passwords at any time.
How PageKey Works
All password generation happens entirely on your device. When you select a seed and generate a password, the computation occurs locally using your device's processor. The result is displayed on screen and optionally copied to your clipboard. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Data Stored on Your Device
PageKey stores the following data locally on your device only, using Apple's secure Keychain:
- Your app preferences, including theme, clipboard timer duration, and haptic setting.
- Your recently used seed titles, not passwords.
- Your purchased pack entitlements through Apple's StoreKit.
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Clipboard Security
When you copy a generated password, PageKey automatically clears your clipboard after the duration you set in Settings, either 30, 60, or 90 seconds. The clipboard is also cleared immediately when the app is backgrounded.
Face ID and Touch ID
PageKey uses Apple's Face ID and Touch ID frameworks solely to lock the app when backgrounded. Biometric data is managed entirely by Apple's operating system and is never accessed or stored by PageKey.
In-App Purchases
PageKey offers optional in-app purchases, including individual packs and the PageKey Complete bundle. All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. PageKey never sees or handles your payment information.
Children's Privacy
PageKey does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
