Overview
PackNudge was built to provide a private and convenient way to create, save, and reuse packing lists. This Privacy Policy explains what information PackNudge uses, how it is stored, and the choices you have. PackNudge is designed to collect as little information as possible.
Information We Collect
PackNudge does not require you to create an account. We do not collect, request, or have access to your name, email address, or other personal information simply because you use the app.
The packs, items, notes, and related information you create are stored on your device and may be stored in your personal iCloud account. PackNudge does not operate a company server, and TCQ Consulting LLC cannot see, access, read, or share the contents of your packs.
iCloud Storage
If you are signed in to iCloud on your device, PackNudge uses Apple's iCloud Documents service to store, restore, and make your packs available through your personal iCloud account.
This allows your packs to remain available if you reinstall PackNudge or use it on another compatible device connected to the same Apple ID. Your iCloud data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's terms and privacy practices. PackNudge and TCQ Consulting LLC do not receive or maintain a separate copy of this data.
Notifications and Reminders
If you choose to use packing reminders, PackNudge asks for permission to send notifications. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device. PackNudge does not use remote push notifications, and TCQ Consulting LLC does not receive information about your reminders or notification activity.
Depending on your Apple Watch settings, PackNudge notifications may also appear on a paired Apple Watch. This behavior is controlled by Apple's notification and Watch settings.
You can allow, disable, or change PackNudge notifications at any time in your device's Settings app.
Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising
PackNudge does not use analytics tools, advertising networks, or third-party tracking software. PackNudge contains no advertising. We do not track how you use the app, inspect the packs you create, or share information with advertisers or data brokers.
Information You Share With Us Directly
If you contact us for support, such as by email, we receive only the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments you send.
We use this information only to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. Please avoid including private packing-list information in a support request unless it is necessary for us to assist you.
Children's Privacy
PackNudge is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because PackNudge does not require an account or request personal information to operate, we have no way of knowingly collecting personal information from anyone, including children, through ordinary use of the app.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your PackNudge data is stored on your device and may also be stored in your personal iCloud account. Deleting a pack or an item within PackNudge removes that content from the app and may synchronize that deletion through iCloud.
Deleting PackNudge removes its locally stored data from that device. Data stored in your personal iCloud account may remain available and may be restored if you reinstall the app. You can manage PackNudge's access to iCloud through your device's Apple ID and iCloud settings.
Your Choices
You can manage PackNudge's access to notifications and iCloud through your device's Settings app. Disabling notifications prevents PackNudge reminders from appearing but does not delete your packs.
Disabling PackNudge's iCloud access stops future iCloud storage or synchronization. It may not automatically delete information already stored in your iCloud account. You can delete individual packs and items from within PackNudge.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if PackNudge's features or data practices change. If we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the app.
