Herb Schedule Privacy Policy

Overview

Herb Schedule helps you organize herbs and vegetables, create planting and care schedules, receive reminders, review plant guides, and prepare an Away Care plan for someone helping with your garden. Herb Schedule is designed to keep your garden information private and under your control.

TCQ Consulting LLC does not operate a Herb Schedule account service or garden-data server. We do not sell your information, use advertising networks, or track your activity across apps and websites.

Information Stored by Herb Schedule

Herb Schedule stores the information you choose to add, including plant names, varieties, plant types, life stages, general growing locations, optional location notes, planting dates, Smart Calendar plans, care schedules, reminder settings, and care history.

This information is stored on your device and may synchronize through your personal iCloud account so it can appear on your other devices signed into the same Apple Account.

Private iCloud Sync

Herb Schedule uses Apple's SwiftData and CloudKit services for private iCloud synchronization. Synced information is associated with your Apple Account and handled by Apple's infrastructure under Apple's terms and privacy practices. TCQ Consulting LLC does not maintain a separate copy of your garden on its own servers.

CloudKit may use silent remote notifications to let Herb Schedule know that garden information changed on another device. These notifications support synchronization and are not advertising messages.

You can manage iCloud access and storage through your device's Apple Account and iCloud settings.

Notifications and Care Reminders

If you allow notifications, Herb Schedule schedules care reminders for the plants and calendars you create. Reminder content is based on your saved garden information. You can change notification permission at any time in your device settings.

Away Care PDFs and Sharing

Herb Schedule can create an Away Care PDF from the plants, dates, and scheduled checks you select. The PDF is created on your device. Herb Schedule shares it only when you choose a destination such as Mail, Messages, AirDrop, or Files.

After you share or save a PDF, the selected destination processes that document under its own terms and privacy policy. The PDF is a read-only reference and does not add information to the recipient's calendar.

Location and Weather

Herb Schedule does not request your device location and does not collect weather information. A general growing-location choice, such as Indoor or Outdoor Container, is information you enter yourself to improve care recommendations.

Plant Guides and Recommendations

Plant guides, schedules, and reminders are general gardening information. Herb Schedule does not send your guide activity or care decisions to TCQ Consulting LLC. Recommendations are prompts to inspect your plant and soil, not automatic instructions to water, fertilize, prune, harvest, or consume a plant.

No Advertising, Tracking, or Third-Party Analytics

Herb Schedule does not contain third-party advertising, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not use third-party analytics SDKs. TCQ Consulting LLC does not sell or rent your personal information.

Support Communications

If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address and a description of the issue. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary private information.

Data Control and Deletion

You can edit garden information and remove Smart Calendars and their scheduled tasks within Herb Schedule. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device. Information synchronized through iCloud may remain in your personal iCloud account or on your other devices until it is removed there. You can manage Herb Schedule's iCloud data through your device's Apple Account and iCloud storage settings.

Children's Privacy

Herb Schedule is a general-purpose gardening app and is not directed to children. TCQ Consulting LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Herb Schedule.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Herb Schedule evolves or its features change. The current effective date will always appear at the top of this page.
